Zinc-aluminum alloy is a low melting point alloy, which is very helpful for brazing copper and aluminum, avoiding the easy corrosion caused by direct brazing between copper and aluminum, and the fragility of joints. One of the applications of the rolling Zinc alloy is used for flux-cored brazing wire with flux of CsAlF complex for brazing between copper and aluminium.

Different aluminum contents results in different melting points and mechanical properties. But at the same time, different aluminum content also makes hot rolling of zinc alloys (especially zinc alloy strips) difficult. Therefore, it is not easy to find mature and easy-to-use copper and aluminum brazing material on the market for making copper-aluminum flux-cored wires or other brazing applications.

Normally Zinc alloy with aluminium would be used as brazing metal. Compare to ZnAl02, ZnAl22 is more difficult to roll but the mechanical properties of final brazed product are better than that with ZnAl02.


After years of close and experimental development with the factory, we have successfully mass-produced copper-aluminum brazing material, especially ZnAl22 alloy brazing material. We can provide brazing strips both ZnAl02 and ZnAl22 in thickness 0.30-0.50mm and width 5-10mm.

According to customer requirements, we can directly provide 2-100mm wide coils of brazing material for the production of flux-cored brazing wires, with few broken ends and stable and reliable quality.
